Buford Park Mount Pisgah Arboretum Loop

Buford Park (Mount Pisgah) Arboretum Loop Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A favorite local hiking place among Eugene and Springfield residents, the maze of trails in the Buford Park Arboretum offers a variety of choices, all excellent and none very long or difficult. For the more adventurous, two trails climb to the summit of Mount Pisgah, also in Buford Park.

From the parking area, walk past the entrance kiosk and over a small footbridge to another map and kiosk. The large building on the left is the White Oak Pavilion, and the restrooms are on the right. Walk toward the restrooms, following signs to the Tom McCall Riverbank Trail, which also takes you past the Wildflower Garden (a short side loop visits this natural wildflower area)."
