Wolf Creek Falls

Wolf Creek Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A hike through quiet, secluded forest to an upper and lower waterfall that drops a total of 125-feet. Options for four other waterfall hikes. Although the North Umpqua River canyon is famous for waterfalls—and sees the most traffic—a small tributary to the south called Little River has its own claims to fame.

There are four stunning waterfalls in the Little River area (see “Options”), but Wolf Creek is the best. The trailhead is easy to find and open year-round, even when the area receives a few inches of snow. The waterfall drops in upper and lower tiers of 75 and 50 feet, respectively, and the trail winds through a quiet forest, following the stream."

"The path that leads to Wolf Creek Falls is as good as old-growth hiking trails get. The casual stroll looks like a forest wonderland movie set, complete with serene creek pools, massive stands of timber, and as lush an understory as you’ll find on any hike in this book. The upper and lower falls form the perfect crescendo for this walk through the woods." Read more
