Poole Creek Professional Review and Guide
"This campground sits in a dry forest of lodgepole pines, Shasta red firs, and mountain hemlocks on the western shore of Lemolo Lake, which captures the North Umpqua River as it descends from the Cascade Crest. Boating is a chief draw, as is fishing for kokanee salmon and eastern brook, rainbow, and German brown trout. Hiking trails and a designated swimming beach provide other diversions. Waterskiing is allowed on part of the lake."
