Parted by Clearwater Creek and its waterfall, this campground and its day-use area offer forest relaxation and falls viewing. The western campsites occupy a slope of old-growth Douglas firs and mountain hemlocks and have better access to waterfall viewing. The eastern sites are more open, sitting along the quiet water at the head of the falls. Because of some awkward approaches, the campground is best suited for small units and tent camping. From OR 138 you can reach additional waterfalls, as well as trails and Toketee, Lemolo, and Diamond Lakes.
