Waxmyrtle Professional Review and Guide
"Along the Siltcoos River, this family campground features wooded sites in a setting of tall shore pines; privacy borders are shaped by the black huckleberries and wax myrtles. Although the driving of off-highway vehicles (OHVs) is prohibited in camp, OHV enthusiasts do have access to their “field of dreams” via a path that skirts camp. Hiking trails along the river and lagoon, a section of beach near the river mouth that is closed to OHVs, and a trail to Siltcoos Lake appeal to the foot-powered crowd."
