Salmon Creek: 1.5 Miles above NF 2408 Bridge to Fish Hatchery Road Bridge Professional Review and Guide
"Salmon Creek is great for intermediate to advanced paddlers wanting to boat smaller volume runs. For less excitement, the mile-long class 4 to 5 gorge can be avoided by putting in at the NF 2408 bridge. The 3 to 4 miles of Salmon Creek above the gorge are a combination of shallow braided channels and more continuous stretches of class 2 to 3 whitewater, both of which contain a substantial amount of wood (logjams, partial blockages, sweepers); thus, running this upper section is not recommended. Character: forested."
