Hideaway Lake Professional Review and Guide
"This rustic camp, best suited for tents, provides access to an idyllic 12-acre lake tucked away in a hemlock-fir forest. Thirty feet deep, Hideaway Lake naturally produces both rainbow and brown trout. Because the thick vegetation limits shore access, inflatable fishing tubes and rafts serve anglers well. Hikers can trace the Shellrock Trail from the northwest shore of Hideaway Lake to Rock Lakes Basin Loop. This all-day hike or backpack visits additional remote lakes, which offer solitude and fishing. Serene Lake is the largest of the hike-to lakes."
