The main stem of Clear Creek drains the north face of Goat Mountain south of Estacada and flows into the Clackamas River at Carver. Because the stream is small and subject to logjams, take a peek around blind bends in the river before committing yourself. Flat water with good current stretches between drops. Most of the land along both banks is private except for two small sections of BLM timber and Metzler Park. Above the put-in, Clear Creek consists of several small feeders with no public access. Character: forested; residential.
