Clackamas River: Collawash River to Sandstone Road Bridge Professional Review and Guide
"This secluded and scenic run on the Clackamas River can be dangerous and intimidating, particularly at high flows. A reliable roll, reliable equipment, and a competent leader make for a more enjoyable day. Landslides and high water continually shape the rapids and landscape on this run. You should always be wary of logs.
After 1 mile of flat water, the river moves away from the road and boaters begin to encounter some fun class 2 and 3 rapids. The rapids gradually increase in size before reaching Hole in the River rapid. At low flows, this rapid is a maze of rocks, but at high water, when the rocks become covered, several large holes appear in the left and middle of the rapid."
