Saddle Mountain is the highest peak in the northern Coast Range, and the trail to the panoramic summit is justifiably the most popular hike in the region. Views extend from the endless Pacific Ocean to the west to the snowy summits of the Cascade Range to the east. Closer at hand is a wealth of colorful wildflowers, including a handful of beautiful species found nowhere else in the world.
