Bowman Trail 1651 Professional Reviews and Guides
"From Frances Lake/Bowman Trailhead, on the Lostine River Road, follow the trail to North Minam Meadows. (Trail 1651) The route climbs from the thickly forested bottom of the Lostine Canyon through subalpine meadows then crosses a pass, before you descend past John Henry Lake to North Minam Meadows. From the combined trailhead, hike parallel to the Lostine River Road for 0.2 mile to the north. Then cross the road and head west on the trail, crossing the Lostine River on a concrete bridge. At 0.3 mile (5,250 ft.) the Bowman Trail crosses Bowman Creek. A footbridge is located just upstream from the trail."
