Thielsen View Professional Review and Guide
"At the foot of Mount Bailey on the west shore of Diamond Lake, this campground offers a comfortable stay and a magnificent view of Mount Thielsen. The campsites rest in a mixed forest of pine and fir. Historically the lake has been stocked, and the blue expanse offers ample room to troll. Bicyclists can ride an 11-mile paved trail around the lake; hikers can choose from a plethora of destinations in Mount Thielsen Wilderness, Oregon Cascades Recreation Area, and Umpqua National Forest."
