Diamond Lake Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Just off the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway, along the east shore of 3,000acre Diamond Lake, you will find this camping “metropolis.” It is surrounded by the Mount Thielsen Wilderness, Oregon Cascades Recreation Area, and the Umpqua National Forest. Recreation on the lake includes fishing, swimming, and boating. A paved pedestrian-and-bicycle trail travels the lakeshore, and the local hiking options range from short nature trails to the interstate Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. A full-service lakeside resort with boat and sports equipment rentals is just a short hop away."
