Southshore Professional Review and Guide
"On the south shore of Detroit Lake—a huge reservoir open to recreation— this campground occupies a shady mixed-conifer forest. Together with its lush understory, the forest setting is almost as recommending as the lake. All campsites have paved parking, though some sites are not as level as others. Swimming, fishing, boating, waterskiing, and sailing keep lakegoers happy. For hiking, the Stahlman Point Lookout Trail is not far from camp."
