Although my mom was not overly impressed with the trail my little sisters (ages 10 and 14) had a blast climbing all over the interesting rock formations. The end won over my mom with it's panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. (We took the trail backwards; which I would recommend doing) We also enjoyed the "davy canyon loop" which took us into the heart of small lava canyon! My sisters felt like they were on an adventure. Short, very easy and worth it!
