Alder Springs Trailhead Road Professional Review and Guide
"This trail used to be fairly empty, but the secret of this incredible area is out. From Cascade views at the top of the canyon to the convergence of two major waterways at the bottom, this hike is sure to please all. Look for colorful highdesert blooms, such as monkey ?ower, columbine, green-banded mariposa lilies, and abundant arrowleaf balsamroot. Wildlife-wise, the trail is closed four months of the year to protect local deer populations."
