Crawfish Meadow Professional Review and Guide
"Crawfish Meadow is an exceptionally scenic destination for adventurous types seeking a quiet alternative to the busy trails around Anthony Lake. The trip involves some cross-country travel, but it is easy enough for well-supervised children and an excellent short backpack for families looking to get away from the crowds. The most significant downside to this paradise is that the marshy habitat supports one of the largest mosquito populations in eastern Oregon. Bring insect repellent, a long-sleeved shirt, and a tent with mosquito netting if you plan to spend the night."
