Lodgepole Trail

Lodgepole Trail Professional Review and Guide

"This trail goes along the southwestern boundary of Eagle Cap Wilderness from Moss Springs Trailhead to the junction with Trail 1907. Parts of the trail follow old, mostly abandoned, roadbeds. (Trail 1920) From Moss Springs Trailhead walk south on closed FR 410. Forty yards from the trailhead, continue past FR 415, which turns off to the left. Another road goes off to the left 650 yards farther along.

This one is unmarked. Forty yards past the unmarked road, FR 418 also heads to the left. Stay on FR 410. The junction with
FR 360 is 350 yards farther. FR 360 turns to the right, FR 420 goes straight ahead, and FR 410 goes to the left. Head left (south-southeast) for 550 yards on FR 410 to the junction with Lodgepole Trail (1920). This junction is 0.6 mile from Moss
Springs Trailhead."
