This ride begins aggressively with a short, steep climb to a grassy hillside in Chip Ross Park. Three Sisters, Mount Washington, Three Fingered Jack, and Mount Jefferson can be viewed here on clear days. This single-track meanders through damp lowlands and old orchards before climbing to the top of Dimple Hill. Dan's Trail is followed by a 1.2 mile descent on gravel roads. Horse Trail starts out with some smooth, exciting switchbacks, then deteriorates. The circuit is completed by backtracking to Chip Ross Park on a section of Dan's Trail. This ride consists of a 5.5 mile loop and 3.4 mile out-and-back. Most of the ride is on single-track with some short, steep pulls. Watch your speed on Horse Trail- horseback riders may be hidden from view. The route begins in the City of Corvallis Chip Ross Park.

A gret trail, I used to ride this area regularly when I lived in Salem. As with all loops the up hill is equal to the down hill so bring a xc bike and leave the dh rig at home.
