This ride will challenge advanced cyclists with 6 miles of varied single-track riding. At 4,097 feet, Marys Peak is the highest point in the Coastal Range. On clear days you can look west to the Pacific Ocean or east for a view of the Cascade Range. The ascents are moderately difficult to strenuous, with some very steep pitches and some easy breathers. The trail gets rocky in places, but is in good condition overall. North Ridge Trail and Tie Trail descend from the mountain and reconnect you with East Ridge Trail. Tie Trail is especially rough and includes some very technical climbing and some unrideable sections. The start of the ride is about 22 miles west of Corvallis.
