The Coquille River offers a wide range of boating. The river has three main forks, but the most consistent, scenic, ad best overall for boating is the South Fork. The most challenging stretch of water runs through the Siskiyou National Forest upstream of Powers, a little logging town more remote that Remote, Oregon. The upper section of the South Fork offers some of the finest and most scenic, technical water in southwestern Oregon.
