"This doubletrack gravel road follows part of the old rail line through the Deep Creek Canyon and a shady second- growth forest. In the summer months you will have opportunities to cool off in the Deep Creek, and to pick wild blackberries.
This ride begins in downtown Boring and travels through the Deep Creek Canyon along the former rail line of Oregon Water Power and Railway Company, which was completed in 1904.

This electric rail line extended from the Sellwood neighborhood in Portland east to Gresham, and then to Boring and the Cazadero Dam site south of Estacada. The Cazadero Power Plan provided The Cazadero State Park Trail is an easy mountain bike ride on which you will enjoy a lot of solitude."
