Williamson River Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"At a distance from US 97, this quiet campground occupies a bench above the Williamson River. Ponderosa and lodgepole pines surround the sites, and dry-land shrubs dot the forest floor. Here the river is shallow, flowing over waving mats of algae. Willows and grass claim the bank below the camp; sage is dominant on the opposite shore. This campground offers convenient access to neighboring Collier Memorial State Park, as well as to the sights, sounds, and stops of the Klamath Basin–Upper Klamath Lake Area."
