The creek provides technical fun for Class V paddler. The Canyon Creek drainage has been heavily clear-cut, but vestiges of its inherent beauty still shine through. The creek contains many continuous boulder gardens and multi-pitch drops. A significant amount of wood is always present, so keep your attention glued to the creekbed, especially at higher flows. Forest Road 2022 runs 100 feet above the creek on the right, allowing a grunting hike out if necessary.
