This river has an extremely long season, from the start of the rainy season until late May or June. The river flows through beautiful scenery approaching that of a rain forest. One has the feeling of being deep in an isolated gorge. However, the road is always relatively close on river left and is accessible from almost anywhere along the run. At medium level, the river is calm at the takeout; at the put-in, the river appears to have minimum water. Character: forested gorge.
