Cascade Head Professional Review and Guide
"Imagine standing high atop a windswept, flower-covered meadow, with the sea and the coast spread out below you and not a tree to block the view. Or imagine peeking into a hidden cove where sea lions bark, a waterfall plunges, and waves crash. Well, you don’t have to imagine either scene: You can go to Cascade Head."
--Paul Gerald, 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Portland (Menasha Ridge Press).
A rewarding hike. There are several pools of water that run down that are nice for taking a dip in, a little chilly, but refreshing! The waterfall at the top of the hike is breathtaking, well worth the hike, which is pretty easy in itself, no steep inclines. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow.
