Campbell Lake Professional Review and Guide
"This inviting campground occupies the lodgepole pine perimeter of Campbell Lake, a pretty, circular mountain lake below Deadhorse Rim. The tight pine forest affords nearly complete shade, and the sites are well spaced for privacy. The lake is stocked with rainbow trout and open to small fishing boats (human-powered or electric motor, 5 miles per hour). Trails from the camp traverse Deadhorse Rim en route to neighboring Deadhorse Lake. The small pond near the trailhead is sometimes loud with frogs."
