Idlewild

Burns, Oregon

Idlewild Professional Review and Guide

"At meadow’s edge in a scenic ponderosa pine forest sits this pleasant campground, a convenient stopover for the US 395 traveler. Planted aspen and natural mountain mahogany vary the look of the forest. The campground roads and parking spaces are paved, with a few pull-through sites to accommodate longer vehicles. Two short hiking trails travel the outskirts of camp: the 1-mile Idlewild Loop and the 2-mile Devine Summit Loop."
