This comfortable family campground occupies the ponderosa pine and willow–treed shore of Delintment Lake, a onetime beaver pond enlarged by an earthen dam to its current 57-acre size. The fishing is good, with the rainbow trout averaging between 12 and 14 inches. The lake has a 5-mile-per-hour boat speed. A footpath rings the lake and offers excellent birding, with bald and golden eagles, ospreys, ducks, coots, geese, and spotted sandpipers.
