The gradient of this run is much less than that of the two upper runs. Here the river assumes a gentle, meandering course with occasional riffles and flows through pastoral country. This is an ideal stretch for a gentle canoe run. The section from Brownsville to Tangent is unrunnable because of logjams and brush. Character: agricultural.
