Boardman Scenic Corridor—Indian Sands

Boardman Scenic Corridor—Indian Sands Professional Review and Guide

"A gorgeous and multifaceted stretch of Oregon Coast scenic area showcasing dunes, rugged coastline, and the state’s tallest bridge. Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor might well be the most spectacular stretch of coast in the entire state of Oregon—it’s certainly a strong contender.

The problem is there are so many pullouts, picnic areas, and very short trails that it’s difficult to decide where to spend your time. Further, the area’s proximity to US 101 can lessen the experience. With all those factors in mind, one of the best continuous stretches of trail is between the Whaleshead Picnic Area and Thomas Creek Bridge."
