North Davis Creek Professional Review and Guide
"This campground occupies a stand of young lodgepole pines on a long inlet arm of Wickiup Reservoir. In the late 1980s the site was logged because of a pine beetle infestation. Sparkling North Davis Creek merges with the reservoir here. The inlet bay is clear and quickly grows deep, but the sandy shore broadens as the water level drops later in the year. Although a poor shade source, the tight array of trees contributes a bit of privacy to sites. Besides fishing and boating, you can lace on the hiking boots and head for Moore Creek Trailhead. Hike destinations include Davis, Bobby, and Charlton Lakes; Gerdine Butte; and The Twins. You can reach the trailhead by taking the signed road across the highway from the camp."
