Newberry National Volcanic Monument: Paulina Lake Professional Review and Guide
"Below Paulina Peak, on the south shore of picture-pretty Paulina Lake, you will find these closely spaced campsites among the lodgepole pines. This is one of two azureblue lakes cradled in Newberry Crater; East Lake is the other. From camp you will find easy access to the Paulina Lake, Peter Skene Ogden, and Paulina Falls Trails, as well as to fishing, sailing, and boating (10 miles per hour limit) on Paulina Lake. Sightseeing stops and short hikes unravel the geological story of Newberry Volcano."
