Fall River Trail Professional Review and Guide
"This beautiful river trail follows the course of the crystal-clear, spring-fed Fall River. This uncrowded route takes you through immense groves of ponderosa pine trees and has many scenic viewpoints of the river, where you may see Canada geese, ospreys, and mallards. Trail surface: Singletrack trail and doubletrack road.Located in the Deschutes National Forest southwest of Bend, Fall River is a beautiful spring-fed river that is stocked with brown, brook, and rainbow trout. The source of the river is about 2 miles northwest of Pringle Falls on the DeschutesRiver. From there Fall River meanders northeast for 8 miles until it joins the Deschutes River about 6 miles below Pringle Falls. This route parallels the course of the river for 3.2 miles."
