Archie Briggs Canyon

Archie Briggs Canyon Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Bend residents are fortunate to have hundreds of miles of fabulous winding singletrack in the nearby lands managed by state parks, national monuments, the national forest, and the Bureau of Land Management. What is even more fortunate is that we also have a multitude of spectacular trails right in the heart of the city.

Featuring waterside running next to the Deschutes River and cliffside running far above it, this section of the Deschutes River Trail provides a variety of scenery on well-marked and well-graded trail through spectacular Archie Briggs Canyon. Though this is an out-and-back, several options exist for those wanting to add a smaller loop segment as well as some challenging hill work."
