Two Pan Campground

Two Pan Campground Professional Review and Guide

"In the far northeastern corner of Oregon on a broad, grassy plain that once was the beloved homeland of the proud Nez Perce sits a magical little kingdom of imposing granite peaks, flower-choked meadows, rushing glacial creeks, and crystalline alpine air.

Eagle Cap Wilderness, rising high above the Wallowa Valley in the Wallowa Mountains, is regularly referred to as Little Switzerland and even sports a Matterhorn of its own. The American version of this mountain, which is in a different drainage from Two Pan Campground, is the second-highest peak in the Wallowas at 9,826 feet; the highest peak is Sacajawea at 9,832 feet."
