In a mixed-conifer stand with a grassy floor, this campground offers both sun and shade. Flowing past camp is Eagle Creek, wide and clear rushing, with richly vegetated banks. Following FR 7755 north to its end, in about 3 miles, will take you to Fake Creek and Main Eagle Trails. They roll out long-distance hikes but also have satisfying scenery and stops for day hikers.
