Pilcher Creek Reservoir Recreation Site Professional Review and Guide
"The centerpiece here is the broad platter of Pilcher Creek Reservoir, cupped by low, rounded meadow-and-forest rises and a scenic aspen-filled dip. Views include the rugged beauty of the Elkhorn Mountains. The camp offerings are primitive, and the primary activities are boating (5 miles per hour) and fishing. With Elkhorn Wildlife Area bordering the recreation site, deer, elk, and other wildlife can be seen at the camp. Balsamroot colors the meadow in spring."
