Anthony Lake Professional Review and Guide
"This camp occupies a high-elevation forest of small-diameter firs and lodgepole pines along Anthony Lake (elevation 7,100 feet). Campers are treated to a breathtaking setting that pairs the stunning granite peaks of the Elkhorn Crest with the midnight blue of the mountain lake. Anthony Lake welcomes trout fishing, human-powered boating, or a shoreline stroll. Opportunities for more-challenging hikes are boundless, including several high-lakes destinations and the Elkhorn Crest. For vehicle sightseeing, this campground is on the 106-mile Elkhorn Scenic Byway, which makes a loop."
