Chief Miwaleta County Park Professional Review and Guide
"This camp offers paved roads and parking among the tall, thin firs of Galesville Reservoir, a popular wet playground. Ferns, dry grass, and chinquapin spread beneath the trees. Small landscape islands and meridians define the RV sites in this compact shoreline campground. The tent area is tucked in forest. Boat and shore fishing for bluegill, large- and smallmouth bass, trout, and more keep anglers busy. Shallow water snags are part of the reservoir’s character. Umpqua National Forest beckons with hiking trails."
