Skipanon River

Skipanon River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This mowed path following the quiet Skipanon River's east bank is part of a network of trails built on the dikes that keep the Warrenton-Hammond community above water. In the late nineteenth century, Chinese laborers employed by city founder Daniel Knight Warren built the dikes that line the Skipanon."
