Dyer Mill Loop Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Located within Battelle Darby Creek Metro Park, this hike makes a circuit in the lowermost reaches of Little Darby Creek. The loop leaves an attractive picnic area and heads up along Little Darby. It then splits and keeps up the valley, opening to a vista of the stream.
The circuit next climbs to uplands, where alluring oak and walnut forests rise. Pass through a meadow before returning to the trailhead. Overall, the hike isn’t hard, despite a few hills. It makes a fine family trek, especially combined with a trailhead dining experience."
