Old Sugar Camp Hike

Old Sugar Camp Hike Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Take a walk along Caesar Creek Lake and surrounding environs. First, you will leave the trailhead for a deep valley rife with mature sugar maples, once a location for tapping maple syrup. After circling this scenic hollow, walk a high bluff above the lake to reach a spur to the shore and a peninsular point with great views.

The trek continues to a lakeside beach, which offers remote water access and wide-reaching vistas. The rewards seem to outstrip your effort—the trail has some undulations but isn’t hard."
