Rockbridge State Nature Preserve Professional Review and Guide
"Getting a good look at Ohio’s largest natural bridge requires a 1-mile trek along a mowed corridor flanked by brushy field edges. Escape the farm fields and climb up a root- and rock-strewn dirt trail through mixed hardwood forest. Drop over the top of the hill and enter a wooded valley to find the preserve’s main feature stretching across a creek ravine nearly out of sight from the trail. Leave the bridge and wind your way up to a neighboring hilltop, with the option to hike the Rock Shelter Trail (an extra 0.75 mile ) from the peak. Either way, re-cross the first forest valley to the entry corridor and retrace your steps back to the trailhead."
