Relatively tiny at just 93 acres, Wolf Creek Park is nonetheless a place where you can have fun. It’s located along the Sandusky River so there’s access to canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The Sandusky has been a state-designated scenic river since 1970. It flows through some of the richest farmland in the Midwest and is generally smooth and easy to float. It’s striking, too. Exposed limestone outcroppings mark its route, and the annual runs of walleyes and white bass make it a favorite of anglers. There’s some history to see along the river.
