Beechtree Loop at Stonelick State Park

Beechtree Loop at Stonelick State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"You will understand the term “flatwoods” after taking this trek that travels forest and shore of 200-acre Stonelick Lake. The hike starts near the popular state park campground, meandering under rich hardwoods that rise from level terrain.

Join the Beechtree Trail, named for impressive smooth-trunked gray giants that shade the way. A little road walk takes you to the aptly named Lakeview Trail, where watery vistas await. The hiking remains easy due to the flat terra firma. Consider combining your hike with other activities at this Ohio state park."
