Little Miami Scenic River Trail

Morrow, Ohio

Little Miami Scenic River Trail Professional Review and Guide

"The goes from Kroger Hill to Spring Valley, following the Little Miami River. If you like family rides, this multi-purpose trail is perfect for you. This 50-mile each way (100 miles total) out-and-back follows the river along an abandoned railroad line. Twenty-two of those miles are paved, and the rest are gravel.

This wide trail doesn't require any technical skill. As far as stamina is concerned, travel as many of the miles as you're able. In some spots, the original ballast is rougher than others, but your way will still be passable. You won't be disappointed by the scenery as you meander past farmlands and forests, and occasional gorges and cliffs. The area has historical value as well. Fort Ancient, located on the high bluffs along the river, was built by the Hopewell Indians centuries ago."

I have ridden the entire trail (78 miles) from Milford to Spring Valley. My favorite portion is from Morrow to Corwin (15 miles). Going south from Morrow to Loveland (14 miles) is also nice. You can get lunch in Loveland and then ride back to Morrow.
