Williams County Fairgrounds Professional Review and Guide
"The Williams County Fair is one of the largest in the tri-state area, with demolition derbies, big-name headliner entertainment and all of the usual food, animals and crafts. It’s held the week after Labor Day. Staying here allows you to visit some other interesting attractions, too. The Williams County Historical Society has a museum and several vintage log buildings. The Parkerburg Wildlife Area is nearby as well. It’s 153 acres of grasslands and woods split by Beaver Creek, with two ponds. People come here to bird. The mating displays of woodcock are an especially neat treat in the meadows."
