Lexington Ramble Professional Review and Guide
"See Amish farms, rock ledges, and gorgeous scenery on this route—maybe even a bald eagle. While this is a mostly comfortable ride, there are a few hills to test your mettle.
The Richland B & O Trail, an 18.3-mile paved trail, is built on the railroad bed of the former Baltimore & Ohio Railway. It connects Mansfield, Lexington, Bellville, and Butler. The trail and this route traverse some of the most scenic parts of north-central Ohio.
Once you’re off the bike trail at the start of this ride, a couple or three hills will have you panting, but overall this jagged figure-eight loop is pleasantly rolling, in an area of the Appalachian foothills known for its skiing. Start out on the bike path, then cross under a highway, pass behind the local bike store, and exit the bike path onto a sort of driveway just before the Ohio Public Works Commission."
