Hardin County Fairgrounds Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"If you time your visit right, you can combine a stay at the fairgrounds with a visit to the annual Gene Autry Days festival. Held on the fairgrounds, the celebration of all things cowboy related has been going on for about twenty years. It features entertainers, fast draw competitions, antique and western toys and collectibles, cap guns, and lots of food. It’s held each year in late June. Details are available from the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance at (419) 673-4131 or www .hardinohio .org/new/Tourism .aspx. Located very near the fairgrounds is the Historic Village and Farm, a collection of old buildings—a schoolhouse, railroad station, log cabin, and jail—that date from 1861 to 1893. Visitors to the museum can see woodworking tools, antique farm machinery, a working weaver’s loom and more."
